Meet Emma
Emma is the founder, owner, and beauty therapist of Treasured Day Spa. Her journey in the beauty industry began at 13 as a Tea & Tidy employee, eventually leading her to complete an Advanced Diploma of Beauty Therapy. After working in various salon chains, she landed her dream job at Stephanie’s, Bulimba in Brisbane. Taking a holiday in 2016, Emma met the person of her dreams, her now husband. Despite leaving her dream job to move to Melbourne for a relationship, Emma saw it as an opportunity to grow in the beauty industry, gaining experience in laser clinics, salons, and day spas.
Emma’s Story
At the end of 2021 I experienced my first miscarriage, and then in 2022 I experienced my second pregnancy loss. This was an incredibly emotional time for me, I felt empty & broken, my body ached, and I didn’t feel myself. After searching for a space to help me heal, I was left disappointed as there wasn’t anything available to meet my needs. I choose to use my experience & pain and utilise my passion in beauty therapy to create something transformative and meaningful. Treasured Day Spa was born out of my own need for somewhere to comfort me, to hold me & look after me.
Emma provides a ‘more than a massage’ moment, intuitively connecting with her clients to nurture their exact needs on the day.
About Treasured Day Spa
A visit to Treasured Day Spa ensures my clients feel welcomed & truly looked after each time they enter my space. In Melbourne, we are widely acknowledged for nurturing burnt-out, tired and stressed bodies. However, we offer tailored services to treat & manage all bodies, with a safe space to look after women who have experienced pregnancy loss. We acknowledge every persons journey is different and hold space for, but not limited to, early pregnancy loss, embryo loss, still birth & termination. I aim to reduce stresses of life by providing an environment & level of service that comforts clients, to effectively lower cortisol levels & balance the emotional & physical aspects of the body + skin via an inside out approach; mind, body & spirit. I can not wait to look after you.
